Grey had been lying down on the cool, damp grass for the past few minutes, wondering vaguely if there was anything for him to do. Of course, he could always go and freeze up the lake just for the fun of it, but was feeling to drained to do so.
"Stupid History of Magic made me go all sleepy..."
He let out a drowsy yawn and stared up at the grey skies, hoping it the sun would come out soon. The breeze was cool and damp, and the birds were all in hiding. He hated this kind of gloomy weather.
Grey remembered his parents and younger sister, suddenly wanting to know how they were.
"Ahh, they're probably home, watching some sort of kiddy movie," he drawled to himself, closing his dark eyes lazily.

Nyx stood by the window of the Dragonhead Common Room, staring out that the dull, gray sky. Dark clouds were billowing, and they threatened rain. Though it wasn't her kind of weather, she tried to enjoy the chillingness it brung to the hot, summer weather.
A black silhouette lying in the green grass below caught her eye, and squinted to see who it was. Fayne, I think, she thought, But what's he doing down there?
She recognized the silhouette to be her fellow Dragonhead and classmate, Grey Fayne. His laid back demeanor had always striked her interested, but somehow, she never had had the chance to actually have a proper conversation with him.
Shrugging to herself, she slipped on a jacket and ventured down to the grounds.
"You're going to catch a cold if you sleep there," she said, upon reaching to spot where he lay and crouching next to him. He seemed pretty at peace, and Nyx wondered to herself if he had already fallen asleep.

Soft-spoken words reached his ears and he opened his dark eyes, gazing into the familiar icy blue that belonged to his classmate's, Nyx Chaos. Grey allowed himself a few milliseconds before smiling to himself.
"Fancy finding you here, Ms. Chaos. Have to wrecked some damage to the school and are currently on the run for it?" He said lightly, knowing Nyx Chaos to be infamous along the school grounds as a professional prankster. He had always found her presence in class to be endearing, yet had only ever spoken to her few.
In fact, he himself was quite taken aback as to how much words he had spoken ever to her. It seemed that their relationship were only of mere acquantances, disregarding the times he had somehow helped her in a few of he escapades from punishment.

Upon his words Nyx couldn't help but laugh. "Don't worry, I haven't done anything reckless today," she said with a grin, sitting down on the damp grass. Thunder rumbled somewhere far, but it seemed that nothing more than a few raindrops would fall from the sky. "And call me Nyx, Ms. Chaos makes me sound like I'm some old hag or something," she resented.
She brought her knees to her chest and made herself comfortable, glancing at Fayne with a smile. Speaking to Fayne was something simple to her, though she only regarded him as a friend. After all, she still had Drake to think of. At the thought, somewhat, she felt slightly guilty for talking to a guy alone.
However innocent and friendly she may be, she had to always remember that she and Drake were to be wed.

He grinned, feeling somewhat doubtful that Nyx hadn't done any rule-breaking in the day. "Then if I call you Nyx, you'd have to respond by calling me Grey," he said pleasantly, closing his eyes again. Now he didn't need to feel disturbed, since it was obvious that Nyx had come to join him just for the simple purpose of talking.
However, he felt her tense and peeked to see her expression. It seemed that she was thinking, albeit hardly, about something.
"So, I hear you're going to marry. Congratulations in advance," he said, somewhat bitterly. The news was all over campus, and though he felt joyed at the fact that she was going to marry, he still thought that she was too young to do so. It was rumor that her older brother, and guardian, had given his consent reluctantly.

Nyx grinned. "Yeah. Drake's his name, Drake Black," she said happily, barely noticing the bitterness in Grey's voice. "He's in 7th year, though..." she trailed off.
Unknowingly, she let out a dreamy smile. Her thoughts were swirling around in the wedding, completely oblivious to her current surroundings.
She sighed, eyes clearing again and taking in the situation. "Uhh...yeah. So anyways," she laughed nervously, thinking she had probably looked silly for a moment.

Kisha and Drake had just had a rough one on one in a quidditch match again, but for fun of course. They always seemed to be doing weird things. The Black's had a name for themselves.
Kisha saw someone with Nyx and noticed she had seen him around school. She never had talked to him. She knew his name was Grey though. She had heard Nyx talk about her close escapes thanks to him. She figured it would be a nice time to meet him. She said, "Let's go talk to Nyx and Grey!"
Drake said, "Alright." He walked with her. Kisha only came to Drake's shoulders. He was eighteen and couldn't help, but feel a joy of seeing his fiancee. He look as usual. His black hair straight convering a little of his eyes. If you could see his eyes, they were silver. He had a t-shirt and jeans on with a black jacket on.
Kisha was much like Drake even if they was only step-siblings. She was still in her quidditch uniform that had Black 01 on the back. Her black hair straight and went a little past her shoulders. Her eyes the same silver as Drake's. She had her gloves on as well and said, "Nyx!" She looked at Grey and said, "Hey Grey! How are you lot doing?"
Drake grinned and sat by Nyx while Kisha on the other side of Grey.

"Huh..." He said rather dully, now feeling the conversation die out. He glanced at Nyx sideways and had to keep himself from bursting, since her facial expression said nothing but 'I'm thinking of my wedding, it's going to be the best!'.
A cry brought him back to his senses, as he had been somewhat staring at Nyx avidly. Kisha and her brother were approaching.
"Hey," Grey smiled, heaving his torso to sit up. "Kisha, right? I heard that you became Nyx's sister," he said, recalling the rumors that had spread all over school campus. He'd never spoken to Kisha before, but knew her reputation well. She and Nyx were the school's deadly pair, having pulled a joke on almost all figures of authority.
"I see you were playing Quidditch," he said, noticing that Kisha was wearing Quidditch robes. "Pretty wild to play in this weather," he said amusingly.

"Kish, Drake," Nyx grinned, pulling herself out of her thoughts. She leaned closer towards Drake as he sat next to her, pulling her head to his shoulder. Even while sitting, Nyx felt minuscule in the presence of Drake. And now that Grey had also sat up, she felt as if she were surrounded by towers.
"Somehow, I'd rather Kisha to sit next to me now," she said, "Sitting in the middle of two extremely tall guys if somewhat frightening."
Small raindrops were now falling steadily from the sky, but so little fell that Nyx could barely feel them. She looked up at the sky and stared at the dark gray cloud that was above them. "I hope it doesn't start raining hard," she said, mostly to herself.
